2010 ‘Estate Agency of the year awards’

Sparks Ellison are exceptionally proud and delighted to announce their fantastic achievements at winning two major accolades at the 2010 ‘Estate Agency of the year awards’.

We are honoured to have been voted, ‘Best Estate Agent in Southern U.K. (Gold Medal) and 3rd place for overall ‘Best Estate Agent in the U.K. (Bronze Medal).

The award ceremony took place in London on April 15th. Earlier in April we were notified that we had been shortlisted in the top 10 for the Estate Agency of the Year in Southern England which in itself was a proud moment.

We were awarded the Gold Winners Medal as being the top estate agent in Southern England and then the Bronze Medal for the category of best estate agent in the UK. Over 19,000 votes were recorded with approximately 400 different agencies shortlisted throughout the UK vying for the awards.

The awards were sponsored and backed by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and presented by television’s Phil Spencer. Phil Spencer said "By entering these awards agents have put their reputation on the line, they have been brave, they have done what others are afraid to do, they have said to their customers and their competitors that they believe in providing the best possible service and they want to prove it. They have been recognised for their bravery and all the hard work involved getting to the final shortlist. Over 19000 votes were achieved making the awards the most important and valuable in the industry."

We are absolutely thrilled with this recognition. Just to have been shortlisted was fantastic, but to have been voted the best agency in Southern England and third best in the whole of the United Kingdom at such a prestigious awards ceremony is just incredible. What makes this so special is that it was our customers that were surveyed and this is therefore a true reflection of what people think of our service and what our business stands for. Being an independent agent means performance, passion and pride. We are the owners of the business and we cherish our independence because it motivates us to care about every single thing that happens within our company and to our customers. It inspires us to constantly improve our service and that keeps us where we want to be - ‘at the top of our game’. This is a reflection of 7 years hard work and is also a tribute to the outstanding people that work for Sparks Ellison and reflects the passion and pride that they take in their work in acting for our customers.
