In the community
Since 2003, Sparks Ellison has become an integral part of the Chandlers Ford community. With more than half of the staff living in Chandlers Ford, educating their children and doing their shopping locally, there is a strong sense of community support and a great fondness for the area.
Our support for local organisations, schools and events has been a rewarding and enjoyable part of building our business and we take great pride in being able to help support the local community. While it is often seen as a cliché, we are delighted to be able to give something back to Chandlers Ford and will continue to do so.
Without question, our longest serving support has been for Hiltingbury Football Club (AFCH). We started sponsoring this local football club back in 2003 and today they are recognised by the Hampshire FA as being one of the leading clubs in the county, with well over 200 children being coached and playing local football from as young as 6 years old through to 18. We are proud to be a club sponsor as opposed to a team sponsor and the red kits with the Sparks Ellison badge can be seen across the football fields of southern Hampshire of a weekend. For further information regarding the club, please visit www.afchiltingbury.co.uk
We are also very proud to support Compton and Chandlers Ford Cricket Club and have been doing so since 2012. Again we are the club sponsor and our name is proudly displayed across cricket shirts throughout the summer months.
We have been very heavily involved with local schools since 2003 and have been proud supporters of the ‘Spooks & Sparks’, Hiltingbury School’s firework display for several years.
For many years we were instrumental in the growth of the Hiltingbury Extravaganza which has been one of the most successful local community events in history.
Our support for local schools has also included the Merdon Junior School Summer Festival, Thornden School Christmas draw prizes and Christmas trees donated to the schools for the festive periods.
Our support has not stopped there, as we have also worked with Naomi House, Age Concern, Eastleigh Borough Council, Music Youth Orchestra, Eastleigh Football Club and many individual sponsorships.
We will commit to and enjoy supporting as many local organisations as we possibly can in future years.
