Sparks Ellison in the community
We’re local and loyal. We’re proud to support the local community in any way we can. We are happy to help wherever we can by giving something back to the community.
Our biggest donation to date has been to AFC Hiltingbury Football Club. In 2004 we purchased brand new kits for every player from the under 8’s to the senior teams and then again in 2009.
We have now purchased in excess of 400 kits, training jackets and training equipment, together with the all important trophies that are handed out at the end of the year. Adam is so passionate about the football club that he coaches and manages a junior side throughout the season.
Our 'cash for schools' campaign in 2006/2007 raised in excess of £2,000 for schools in the Chandlers Ford district. We have been the proud sponsors of the Hiltingbury Extravaganza since 2005, which helps to consistently raise awareness of this fantastic annual event held in September with thousands of local families visiting during the day. This culminated in the completion of the Hiltingbury Community Building situated at Hiltingbury Recreation Ground in 2009. In 2007 we made a substantial donation to one of our clients to fulfil his ambition of trekking the Himalayas for a charity and cause close to his heart. In 2009 another local resident known to Adam for over 30 years scaled Kilimanjaro, again for a cause close to his heart and we were only too happy to pledge our support for this as well. We were also delighted to support one of our clients, a youthful lady in her 80’s who often calls in to see us, to do a sponsored sky dive for charity.
For a number of years we have also sponsored and donated the main prize at the summer and Christmas draws for Thornden School. We have also helped a considerable number of other organisations in the area including Naomi House, Age Concern, Eastleigh Borough Council, Music Youth Orchestra, Eastleigh Football Club and many local schools. Our support and donations made in the local area will always be very high on our agenda.
